Van Isle Auto Appraisal's fleet appraisal standards were established during the years 1987 to 1992 when our senior appraiser was part of Price Waterhouse's audit & assurance group. Two of those years were under the direct tutelage of one of the top movable asset valuation experts on this planet, where he was taught directly one-on-one how to analyse the value of any pool of capital assets in the exact same manner as his teacher. Imagine having Wayne Gretzky as a hockey coach, Albert Einstein as a physics instructor or Mozart as your piano teacher, being taught by the best is being taught how to be the best. We can prepare asset appraisal reports where we calculate Orderly Liquidation Value (OLV), Forced Liquidation Value (FLV), Net Orderly Liquidation Value (NOLV), Net Forced Liquidation Value (NFLV), Fleet as a Going Concern Value (FGCV) & Fleet Sample as a Going Concern Value (FSGCV). Where necessary we will interview the management team, the maintenance team, external contractors & the operators of the assets that we are appraising. We take an in depth look at the factors which affect asset values such as inspection procedures, maintenance policies, operating environment & service histories.  Whether you have one truck to appraise or a fleet of trucks numbering in the hundreds, we have the expertise to get the job done. 

We will work with you to establish what level of assurance Van Isle Auto Appraisal will be providing. We arrive at an agreement regarding the assignments size, scope and cost. We both agree under what circumstances our fee may exceed our quote. Our terms are 50% of the agreed appraisal fee plus mutually agreed travel costs prior to commencement of work followed by the balance in full upon completion. 

Please allow us to be your eyes on location and boots on the ground. We cover the entirety of Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and the Sunshine Coast. We will perform the inspection to your exacting specifications and compile the data we collect on your behalf  in your prescribed form. We don't mind getting covered with mud if its required to get the job done. Provided it moves on land Van Isle Auto Appraisal can verify that asset's value within 24 hours of returning to wherever there is an internet connection (we like to say today).
